DynaMIC rebound hardness tester
DynaMIC uses a special signal processing technology that can automatically compensate for changes in hardness values in different detection directions, and operates the testing instrument according to the rebound hardness testing method (standardized according to ASTM A956 and DIN 50156). Place the impact device in the appropriate position and then read the hardness value - this is the hardness test for a few seconds. We can provide different impact devices to ensure the best match between materials and applications. The DynaMIC DL data logger can internally store hardness values and statistical information.
Accurate detection method
DynaMIC operates based on the rebound method, which refers to the impact of an object on the detection surface due to elastic force. The hardness value is calculated by the ratio of the velocity before the impact of the impactor to the velocity after the rebound of the specimen. In order to improve the established detection method, DynaMIC has adopted an innovative signal processing technology that can automatically compensate for changes in detection direction and distance when measuring impact objects with small radii.
High tech brings you convenience
With DynaMIC, you don't need to consider any direction that could affect the accuracy of the detection results. It is not necessary to input the direction of the detected impact before measurement. The well-known advantage of ultrasound impedance method can now be used to detect rebound hardness with DynaMIC. In addition, MIC 10 fully demonstrates that the effective calibration function has been adopted by DynaMIC. Accurately calibrate one of the nine preset material groups and specific alloys in special materials, quickly execute and restore stored calibration parameters. DynaMIC even allows you to generate and save company specific material calibration parameters.
With just one key, you can choose to display a single value or the average of a measurement set. By adjusting the alarm threshold, you can not only see but also hear key instrument readings. The adjustable configuration features allow you to choose the range and function according to specific detection requirements. This can simplify operations and increase operational stability.
DynaMIC can also ensure measurement reliability by displaying the total number of measurements taken when using an impact device. This can help you arrange repairs or predict the replacement time of the impact device.
Extremely secure data
The DynaMIC DL data logger can internally store hardness values and corresponding calibration parameters. The instrument receiver can supplement this data storage function and can be used as a storage card for parameter cards.
As a parameter card, calibration values and instrument settings can be easily saved and retrieved, ensuring the integrity of test results and simplifying future instrument settings.
You can print out the test report in the format you choose, or transfer your data to a PC through the RS232 interface. Our Ultra HARD series of application software provides you with many possibilities for future data processing.
Main features and advantages
- Due to the use of signal processing techniques, the hardness measurement results do not depend on the detection direction (without inputting correction values)
- Standardize according to ASTM A956
- Automatically convert hardness into HV, HB, HRC, HRB, HS, HL, and N/mm2
- Different impact devices depend on different application scenarios
- Dyna D is used for standard applications
- Dyna G is used for heavy-duty solid parts
- Dyna E is used for hardness ranges exceeding 650HV
The DynaMIC hardness tester is suitable for testing steel or casting materials.
